Pulse is a dual-sided mobile ecosystem designed to foster real-world connections. It goes beyond a simple event directory by offering a unified space for both sides of the community. For participants, it’s a tool to effortlessly discover and reserve spots at local gatherings. For grassroots organizers, it provides an all-in-one hub for event planning, effortless ticket management, and volunteer coordination.

In modern cities, people often experience "mind decay" and isolation, struggling to find authentic, grassroots initiatives amidst a sea of massive, commercial events. Simultaneously, local organizers lack accessible, centralized tools to promote their events, manage tickets, and coordinate volunteers. The primary goal of this project was to design an intuitive platform that balances the distinct needs of community seekers and local event creators, removing friction from both discovery and management.

Participant Flow: The interface prioritizes seamless discovery. Users can explore events happening nearby, view all essential details in one place, and use the effortless "Buy and Reserve" feature to secure their spot without leaving the app.

Organizer Dashboard: Event planning made easy. This dedicated workspace allows creators to manage their events, track ticket sales in real-time, and seamlessly coordinate volunteer schedules, drastically reducing administrative overhead.
Designing Pulse was a deep dive into the complexities of a two-sided marketplace. Balancing the intuitive, discovery-focused needs of casual participants with the robust, data-heavy requirements of local organizers required careful structuring of the Information Architecture.
As a next step, the logical progression would involve conducting Usability Testing specifically focused on the Organizer Hub. Observing how real local event creators interact with the volunteer management and ticketing flows would provide crucial data to further refine and streamline the professional side of the application.
